Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair Begins January 5

RAPAPORT... The second edition of the Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair (MJGF) will kick off on January 5 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The three-day show will feature a wide range of jewelry, diamonds, pearls and gemstones offered by the exhibitors.
Companies from Hong Kong, Israel, Sri Lanka and Thailand will join several Indian jewelry retailers to participate in the show, which is organized by UBM India Private Ltd. Organizers have also scheduled knowledge-sharing seminars about diamonds and jewelry during the event.
Participating local trade bodies include the Mumbai Wholesale Gold Jewelers Association, the Mumbai Diamond Merchants Association and the Madras Jewellery & Diamond Merchants Association, among others.
