RAPAPORT... Graff has appointed Marc Hruschka CEO of its US operations as part of its efforts to reach new customers and grow its business.

“We aim to become more dynamic, broadening our product offering to include everyday diamonds and prioritizing client relationships,” Hruschka said Monday.

Hruschka has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury industry, most prominently as CEO of Chopard. He also spent 10 years in leadership roles at Richemont, working with brands including Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Most recently, he served as president of luxury strategy and partnerships for Hero, an e-commerce site that connects online shoppers with physical retailers in a live experience.

In his role, Hruschka, who will report directly to global CEO Francois Graff, will manage 10 locations across major US cities, including New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami, Graff noted. As part of the US team, he will help the company distinguish itself in that market.

“Graff is synonymous with the most fabulous jewels in the world,” Hruschka stated. “Our task will be continuing to ensure that we set ourselves apart in a very competitive and ever-changing landscape. We intend to explore new technology and tools to help us achieve the very best possible customer service for our clients, who are true connoisseurs of luxury and fine jewelry.”
