RAPAPORT...
Frederick Goldman has appointed Lauren Calmas as general manager of the independent-jeweler channel of its business.

Calmas will be responsible for growing the newly created business-to-business (B2B) division for small e-commerce sellers, Frederick Goldman said Monday. She will also be in charge of creating the go-to-market strategy and all marketing and sales activity in the independents channel.

Most recently cofounder and chief marketing officer of luxury watch e-commerce platform Troverie, Calmas has also held executive roles at Geneva Watch Group and Movado Group.

“Lauren brings a vast amount of experience and will be a key driver as we look to root deeper within our accounts,” said Frederick Goldman CEO Jonathan Goldman. “One of our top priorities is to ensure that we offer our independent-jeweler partners the very best in terms of service, product and marketing services. Adding Lauren to the team will allow us to further enhance our go-to-market strategy, and significantly enhance the value we provide to FGI’s [Frederick Goldman, Inc.] retail customers.”

Calmas will report directly to Jonathan Goldman.
