RAPAPORT... UBM India opened its three-day Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair 2015 on June 5 with more than 150 exhibitors, ranging from diamond dealers to jewelry manufacturers. Organizers said that the business-to-business (B2B) trade event presented a wide range of merchandise, including South Indian gold jewelry and traditional and antique collections of Kundan and Naqash jewelry.
Yogesh Mudras, the acting managing director for UBM India, said, "It has been a constant endeavor of UBM India to provide a platform to the jewelry traders to connect and generate business, thus meeting the larger industry need in India. The Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair, over the years, has become an industry benchmark for trade in the region and this edition will continue to be the South India gateway for markets across the country." Some of the exhibitors that UBM named included Jai Gulab Jewellers, Krizz, Bhindi Jewellers, Chintamani Gold, N D Diamonds Pvt. Ltd., Thermo Fisher Scientific India Pvt. Ltd., Laxmi Diamonds, Emerald Jewellery Industry India Ltd., Fischer Measurement Technologies, Meenakshi Jewellers and Hari Krishna Exports Ltd.
The event was supported by AP Gold Silver & Diamond Merchant Association, Secunderabad Jewellers Association, Narsaraopet Jewellers Association, East Godavri Jewellers Association & West Godavari Jewellers Association and Guntur Jewellers Association.
