RAPAPORT... Earlier this month, Gitanjali Jewels, the flagship retail chain of the Gitanjali Group, debuted in Kerala by opening its 101st store in Pattom, Trivandrum. The new diamond and jewelry boutique was inaugurated by Malayalam movie actors Anoop Menon and Meghana Raj along with the  retail jeweler's managing director, Santosh Srivastava. In addition to celebrating the store's opening, Raj unveiled a new collection from Gitanjali's Ananya jewelry brand.
The retailer's business partner, Avinash Praveen, said, “It is a great honor to be associated with Gitanjali Jewels and to be their first partner in Kerala. Now, we will have all possible branded jewelry options for our every customer.”
Srivastava added, ''Gitanjali Jewels made jewelry buying a reality for the common man in India. We are now looking at opening another 100 stores in the coming few years across India and select international destinations.''
In addition to the Ananya brand, Gitanjali Jewels markets Asmi, Nakshatra, D’damas, Gili, Diya, Parineeta, Sangini, Nizam and Gitanjali Gold.
