RAPAPORT... Jewelry manufacturer Frederick Goldman has bought “selected assets” of Costa Rica-based bridal jewelry company Joyeros Costarricenses.

Joyeros Costarricenses has manufactured and distributed bridal products in North America for over 25 years and has already been servicing many Frederick Goldman clients, according to a statement by the U.S.-based acquirer March 1.

“This acquisition is aligned perfectly with our long-term strategy of further building upon our strong position in the wedding and bridal marketplace,” said Jonathan Goldman, chairman and chief executive officer of Frederick Goldman. “This new addition gives us the ability and technology to manufacture more products and offer a more diverse assortment to our customers than we have previously.”

Joyeros Costarricenses’ operations will move to Frederick Goldman’s facilities in Merida, Mexico, and New York.
