Tiffany & Co. and Pandora received high ratings on an annual list comparing responsible sourcing by the largest companies in the fashion industry.

Tiffany garnered the top rating of AAA in the retail category for the fifth consecutive year, according to the yearly Environmental, Social and Government report by index and analytics provider MSCI, formerly Morgan Stanley Capital International. Pandora nabbed the same ranking in the textiles, apparel and luxury goods division. It marks the fourth year in a row the Danish jewelry has received the number-one spot in that category, beating out other luxury vendors.

Richemont and Kering came in fourth and fifth in the textiles, apparel and luxury goods category, both scoring the second-highest rating of AA. LVMH took the 10th spot, with an A.

The company graded Tiffany highly for labor conditions and low carbon footprint, while Pandora scored well for corporate governance and responsible sourcing of gold and silver.

The report also rated the companies on chemical safety and raw-material sourcing.
