The organizers of jewelry show VicenzaOro will require all participants in the event to hold a green pass to gain entry to the expo center.

Ensuring “Covid-free” halls will mean “the only thing those inside need to worry about is doing business,” said Corrado Peraboni, CEO of Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), which runs the show. “The request for this measure has come loud and clear from the companies, particularly the multinationals that want to be able to guarantee maximum safety for their collaborators.”

IEG did not specify what attendees must do in order to be eligible for the pass.

The show organizer will give foreign attendees information about rules related to visiting Italy during the pandemic, covering areas such as transportation to and within the country.

VicenzaOro is due to take place in a physical format in Vicenza, Italy, from September 10 to 14.
