Chow Tai Fook will debut a new bridal-jewelry collection in partnership with designer Vera Wang, it said Thursday.

The Hong Kong-based retailer will launch the line — called Vera Wang Love — in mainland China on October 19. It will target the “modern Chinese bride,” the jeweler noted.

The collection includes 18-karat-gold and platinum engagement rings and wedding bands, as well as fine fashion jewelry featuring precious stones and metals. It will first become available in Shanghai, before expanding to Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong and other cities. Prices begin at $400.

“The sophistication, quality technical capabilities and vast consumer reach of Chow Tai Fook will enable me to create both wedding and fashion signature pieces at the highest quality from the attainable to the most exclusive,” Wang said.

The line features diamonds from Chow Tai Fook’s T Mark traceability program. As such, each stone has a unique inscription confirming its identity and origins, Chow Tai Fook said.

“The intrinsic value of ‘traceable’ marks carried by T Mark diamonds perfectly aligns with Vera’s design philosophy, resulting in beautiful, modern pieces of jewelry,” said Kent Wong, managing director of Chow Tai Fook. “Our partnership will provide a unique and enhanced experience to our customers in greater China.”
