RAPAPORT... PC Jeweller signed an exclusive collaboration agreement with Blue Nile, PC Jeweller reported. The move indicates that the U.S. based online jeweler is looking to tap into India's large jewelry buying population.

PC Jeweller explained that the collaboration with Blue Nile aims to evaluate the Indian market for potential online jewelry sales on a long term basis. The agreement is a possible stepping stone toward a potential strategic partnership between the two companies, PC Jeweller stated.

PC Jeweller sells jewelry online through its affiliated website, www.wearyourshine.com, created to replicate the in-store consumer buying experience at its 50 retail stores throughout 42 cities in India.

Currently, Blue Nile does not ship to India but supplies 45 countries throughout North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

Brown/Green Shade
Mar 9, 2015 12:11PM    By Dan Dement
Blue Nile does not tell Consumer's that many of their stones are Brown/Green Shade Diamonds! If you backtrack the true owner of the stone which is usually an Indian Diamond Company, the owner clearly states that the Diamond is a Brown or Green Shade. Blue Nile does not reveal this information on their website or to the consumer! Most Brown/Green shade stones come from Zimbabwe. I think this is certainly less than ethical. Truth in Diamonds!
