RAPAPORT... Tiffany & Co. has named Ruba Abu-Nimah as executive creative director, it said Tuesday. She will succeed Reed Krakoff in the role,

Abu-Nimah is the first major creative hire for the company since Krakoff exited following its takeover by LVMH. Before joining Tiffany, she was senior vice president and creative director at beauty and makeup giant Revlon. Abu-Nimah was also the first female creative director at Elle magazine, and held similar positions at Shiseido and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

LVMH completed its acquisition of Tiffany in January. It has already replaced former CEO Alessandro Bogliolo with Anthony Ledru, and appointed Alexandre Arnault, son of LVMH chief Bernard Arnault, as executive vice president for product and communication. The company has not yet announced a replacement for Daniella Vitale, Tiffany’s executive vice president and chief brand officer, who left at the same time as Krakoff.
