Press Release: IGC Brand Services is pleased to announce the launch of the jewelry industry’s first portable smart bridal kiosk. Consumers can now enjoy a unique in-store experience -- the ability to touch and feel the jewelry along with conveniences normally associated with a typical Internet experience such as instant sharing and product research.

The kiosks are designed to provide a user-friendly, self-service type of experience for consumers. This offer jewelers a uniquely safe and affordable way to increase sales without increasing inventory or hiring more sales staff. It also affords opportunities for jewelers to increase visibility and accessibility by positioning smart kiosks outside stores with little supervision, such as in high traffic mall thoroughfares, bridal stores and out-of-store special events. Trunk shows and bridal expos can now be more engaging and entertaining with a smart kiosk.

Each portable smart kiosk comes with 25 tethered rings, its own power system and an iPad display structure. The kiosk is being offered in two basic configurations: with or without an additional traditional display case. It is available on lease-to-own finance plans from $185 per month.

The iPad is powered by the Naledi RingFinder App available on the App Store. It has been featured as the No. 1 engagement ring app on the App Store under the “Plan Your Wedding” feature in its Lifestyle section. The app offers consumers an engaging and informative shopping experience which may be continued, at their convenience, on their own Apple device.

Few consumers have the patience to wait in line anymore and industries everywhere are responding by offering an increasing number of automated self service and check in systems to address these needs. It’s more important than ever to get the guest experience right. Technology like the smart kiosk can help jewelers accomplish that without losing the human touch.

The following jewelers will be launching smart kiosk services in the U.S.; Aebischer’s Jewelers in Poland, Ohio, Arnold’s Fine Jewelry & Gifts in Logansport, Indiana,  Hogan’s Jewelers in Gaylord, Michigan,  Hight & Randall in Rochester, Minnesota,  Montague’s Jewelers in Billings, Montana,  Sanders Diamond Jewelers  in  Pasadena, Maryland, Tom Poe Diamond Jewelers in Enumclaw, Washington, Prime Time Jewelry and Watches in San Diego, California, Thorpe Jewelers in Sioux City, Iowa,  Nelson’s Jewelry in Crystal Lake, Illinois and Woelfel Jewelers in Mitchell, South Dakota.

The Smart Kiosk is distributed by IGC Brand Services, a certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) an international organization bringing together more than 270 member companies from around the world and across the jewelry supply chain. RJC members are committed to promoting responsible, ethical, social and environmental practices within the diamond and jewelry supply chain. The kiosks are offered in conjunction with IGC Brand Services Naledi Bridal collection. The collection features classically feminine yet timeless designs and ethically sourced diamonds, specifically tailored to the tastes and sensibilities of today’s bride. In July 2013 The Naledi Collection appointed Antwerp based Belgium designer Laurence Bruyninckx (BRUHH-Nix) as its head designer.
