Jewelry.com to Enter China’s Online Market

RAPAPORT... Jewelry.com will expand into China, teaming with e-commerce vendor
VoyageOne to help launch its online sales platform in the country.
Ofer Azrielant, president of the online jewelry retailer,
said China’s online marketplaces, in particular Alibaba’s Tmall Global site,
were “one of the great untapped opportunities for us.”
“Now we are able to provide our jewelry assortment to online
shoppers in China while empowering them to express their individuality and
taste in an entirely new way,” Azrielant said.
Jewelry.com, founded in 1999, is a wholly owned division of
the Richline Group, part of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway group
of companies.
