IDE Appoints New Board, Committee Chairs

RAPAPORT... Yoram Dvash, the new president of the Israel Diamond
Exchange (IDE), has unveiled a full list of appointments to the bourse’s board
and committees.
Yehezkel Blum, formerly vice president of the IDE, is now
executive vice president, while Shalom Papir has been appointed senior deputy
president, according to a statement December 29. Yaacov Ahron Shely will take
over as vice president and treasurer, while Eli Shiri and Yoram Harel-Haimoff will
officiate as vice president in rotation.
The finance committee will be chaired by Boaz Moldawsky
and the judicial committee by Eyal Fruchter.
“I feel we have assembled
an excellent team that is well equipped to cope with the many challenges we
have ahead of us,” said Dvash, who was elected IDE president earlier this month.
“There are a lot of new, young faces on board, but
also members with decades of experience. As I see it, this is just the right
mix of talents that we need to propel our exchange and industry at large
forward. I wish all a successful and fruitful term in office.”
