JA Announces GEM Award Nominees

RAPAPORT... Jewelers of America (JA) will honor individuals and brands
whose work raises the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches at its
2020 GEM Awards.
Nominees for the media excellence category include Anthony DeMarco, a frequent contributor to Rapaport Magazine. JA will also choose winners in jewelry design and retail innovation. The recipients will be
announced during the awards show on January 10 in New York.

GEM Award for Jewelry Design:
Ana Khouri, New York-based designer and owner of Ana Khouri
jewelry
Nikos Koulis, owner of Greek jewelry brand Nikos Koulis
Jewels
Carlo Traglio, president of Italian jewelry brand Vhernier
GEM Award for Media Excellence Nominees:
Anthony DeMarco, a writer and editor for the luxury jewelry
and watch industry, including Rapaport Magazine, Forbes and
the Financial Times
Rachel Garrahan, jewelry and watch director at British
Vogue
Tanya Dukes, freelance fine-jewelry writer and former senior
editor of InDesign and InStore magazines
