RAPAPORT... Bonhams has appointed seasoned luxury authority Paul Redmayne-Mourad as its jewelry consultant in Hong Kong, the auction house said Thursday.

Redmayne-Mourad (pictured) has 20 years’ experience in high-end jewelry retail, most recently at London-based jeweler David Morris and with designer Cindy Chao in Hong Kong. He is also chair of the luxury and retail committee for the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau. He has previously worked for luxury brands Moussaieff, Piaget and Harry Winston.

“I am very pleased to be working with the Bonhams jewelry team in Hong Kong, and am looking forward to helping develop its growing reputation and increasing its sales across Asia,” Redmayne-Mourad said.

Bonhams, headquartered in London, holds auctions across the UK, as well as in the US, Hong Kong and other global locations.
