GIA Career Fair in Las Vegas

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) held a mini-career fair in Las Vegas during the annual JCK show.

GIA president Donna Baker led a discussion of panelists representing a wide range of jewelry industry experience across diamond services, retail and design. In this video, Baker describes key issues potential job seekers should employ in building their career. GIA career fair founder, Kathryn Kimmel, provides insight for job seekers using GIA's resources. Attendees Daniel Canivet and    Elizabeth Nomberg shared how the event and speakers impressed  them at this early stage of their own careers.

The next career fair is October 22, 2010, in Carlsbad, California.
