Rapaport Fair Trade Conference: Panelists Farai Maguwu, Center for Research & Development in Zimbabwe; Charles Stanley, Forevermark U.S. president; Alan Martin of Partnership Africa Canada and Martin Rapaport, chairman of the Rapaport Group, identify the ethical challenges facing the industry and discuss how to create, sustain and market an ethical supply chain.

Maguwu discusses the business and political issues surrounding mining in the Marange region of Zimbabwe as well as diamond smuggling underway.

Partnership Africa Canada endorses the Rapaport Ethical Pledge campaign and Martin discusses the reasons behind redefining the term ''conflict diamond.'' 

Stanley explains how Forevermark diamonds sustain local communities and give back to producing countries by creating economic value.
