Delegation From Tanzania to Attend ICA Congress

RAPAPORT... A delegation from Tanzania will take part in the International Colored Gemstone Association's (ICA) 2013 Congress on May 12 to 16, in Changsha China. Tanzania is one of Africa's leading gemstone producers and is rich with emeralds and other colored stones. 

The delegation will include Tanzania's deputy minister, Stephen Masele,  commissioner for minerals, Ally Samaje, the assistant commissioner for minerals, Benjamine Mchwampaka and Tanzania's ambassador to China, Philip Marmo.

The ICA's congress in China was given the theme ''Sourcing Countries and China Market'' and will kick off the Changsha Show on the final day of the meeting.
