RAPAPORT... Pandora reported preliminary revenue surged 40 percent to $2.44 billion (DKK 16.7 billion) over the year to December 31, in line with its guidance released in November.

A “tailwind” from foreign-exchange rates of about 11 percent was one percentage point higher than the previous estimate, the Denmark-headquartered company said in a statement January 6. The full-year sales compare with a 32.5 percent jump in revenue in 2014.

The company had forecast sales of above $2.34 billion in 2015.

All geographic regions contributed “double-digit growth” in local currency in the fourth quarter of 2015, primarily because of better-than-expected Christmas sales.
