Shrenuj Swings to Fiscal 3Q Loss as Sales Slump 34%

RAPAPORT... India-based diamond manufacturer Shrenuj & Company reported revenue slumped 34 percent year on year to $182.8 million (INR 12.34 billion) in the three months that ended December 31. The company swung to a loss of $55,103 from a profit of $3 million a year before.

Diamond sales dived 30 percent to $153.3 million in the third fiscal quarter, according to a statement February 11.

During the nine months from March to December, total revenue fell 5 percent to $631.8 million.
