RAPAPORT... Jewelers of America (JA) has elected three senior industry members to its board, the US trade organization said last week.

The new directors are Chad Berg, co-owner and vice president of Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry (pictured, left); David Bouffard, vice president for corporate affairs at Signet Jewelers (center); and Camile Hannoush of family business Hannoush Jewelers (right). They will serve a three-year term.

Two people are leaving the board: Lane Schiffman of Schiffman’s in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Betsy Wolgemuth of Koser Jewelers in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.

The election took place at JA’s biannual board meeting in New York on July 16.
