The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the trademark "Arctic Circle Diamonds" to Worldwide Diamond Trademarks (WDT) Ltd. of Vancouver, Canada on July 7 with registration number 4766841. Worldwide Diamond applied for the trademark on October 23, 2013 to market diamonds and diamond jewelry. The trademark consists of the word "ARCTIC" in stylized upper case letters, with the word "CIRCLE" in upper case letters in a smaller font immediately below. The word "DIAMONDS" appears in lower case in a stylized font at the bottom of the design and between the words "ARCTIC CIRCLE" and "DIAMONDS" a circle appears with a stylized cross shape at the top.
The USPTO issued the trademark "Naughty Diamonds" on July 7 to Naughty Diamonds Inc. of New York with registration number 4769276. The trademark applies to a number of products, such as eyewear, handbags and clothing, but the company first used it for diamond jewelry on October 8, 2012.
