Kimberley Diamonds Announces Executive Changes

RAPAPORT... Kimberley Diamonds Limited announced that Noel Halgreen has replaced Lee-Anne de Bruin as the managing director.   Halgreen previously served as an advisor to the board. De Bruin will remain on the company's board of directors. The company's executive chairman and CEO, Alex Alexander, is now a non-executive chairman on the board.  The board's deputy chairman, Albert Wong, resigned from the board. 

Alexander said, “On behalf of Kimberley, I would like to thank Albert for his guidance and contribution to the board over the last year, during which it has grown from one asset to multiple assets in several countries. The board would also like to acknowledge the effort and valuable contribution that Lee-Anne de Bruin has made as managing director.”

Halgreen is a qualified mining engineer with 30 years of diverse industry experience including roles with BHP Billiton’s coal division and Sasol. He most recently  played a key role in the acquisitions of the Ellendale diamond mine, Mantle Diamonds U.K. and the Smoke Creek Project on behalf of Kimberley Diamonds. He is also a non-executive director of Winmar Resources and International Coal Ltd.
