Brink's & BVC Create Joint Entity to Serve India

Press Release: Brink's and BVC announced a successful transition from strategic alliance to a joint venture entity in India. With immediate effect, the organizations will combine as BVC Brink’s Diamond and Jewellery Services LLP to provide the diamond and jewelry industry with a seamless international service offering throughout India.

This joint venture of industry leaders combines the power of Brink's global footprint and unrivaled liability program, with BVC’s proud heritage within in the Indian secure logistics sector.

"Following on from the successful launch of our strategic alliance in 2013, we soon came to realize that the next stage of our natural evolution was to formally form a joint venture between BVC and the Brink’s family. I am delighted to be able to formally announce this today. The combined strengths of Brink’s and BVC together can only further add value and benefit the diamond and jewelry market now and in the long term," said Amit Zukerman, the president of Brink’s Global Services.

BVC was established in 1960 due to the growing market need to provide a quality logistics service to India's burgeoning diamond trade. Uday Chinai, the chairman of BVC Group of Companies, has spearheaded growth within each business vertical and his understanding and involvement of operations has helped BVC Group of companies achieve its success.
