RAPAPORT... JA New York will introduce 10 new designers in the New Designer Gallery at the upcoming summer show and present one designer with the Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year award at a special ceremony on July 27 at 2 p.m.
Designers exhibiting for the first time at JA include Arya Esha, Laura Jackowski-Dickson of LJD Designs, Jewelry by Cari, Lauren Chisholm, Lisa Kim, Nathalie Regnier, Ruta Reifen, Sofie Cawood, Tracy Arrington and Unhada.
“We’re always so excited to showcase rising talent in our New Designer Gallery,” said Drew Lawsky, the group show director for JA New York Shows. “Since 1977, we’ve been privileged to see a number of designers utilize our show as a launch pad for a successful career in jewelry design.”
The JA summer show is scheduled for July 26 to 28 at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. The show opens at 10 a.m. daily and closes at 6 p.m. on the first two days, with a 4 p.m. closing time on July 28.
