Piaget, De Beers Execs Take on RJC Roles

RAPAPORT... Members of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) have elected Didier Théraulaz of Piaget as vice chairman, and reelected De Beers’ Feriel Zerouki as honorary treasurer, the organization said Monday.

Théraulaz is corporate affairs director at the Richemont-owned watch and jewelry brand, while Zerouki (pictured) heads De Beers’ government and industry relations work. The pair will work alongside RJC chairman Wilfried Hoerner and executive director Andrew Bone.

The election took place last week at the body’s annual general meeting in Pforzheim, Germany. Others chosen to join the board were:
