Alrosa Reelects Finance Minister as Chairman

RAPAPORT... Alrosa’s supervisory board has reelected Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov as its chairman. He has held the position since 2015.

Members of the board also reelected Aysen Nikolaev, head of the Republic of Yakutia, as first deputy chairman, and Alrosa CEO Sergey Ivanov as deputy chairman, Alrosa reported Monday. The election took place on Friday as an absentee vote amid coronavirus restrictions.

Meanwhile, Alexei Moiseev, Russia’s deputy finance minister, won backing for another term as chairman of the strategic planning committee.
