Forevermark Hosts 'Shape the Future' Partner Forum

Press Release:  Forevermark, the diamond brand inscribed with a promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing, hosted its second annual Forevermark partner forum at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida this week.

In an opening presentation, Forevermark's CEO Stephen Lussier introduced the theme of the forum, saying, “As De Beers reflects on 125 years of leadership in the diamond industry, we believe Forevermark is the fundamental element to maintain the diamond dream and drive value. We’ve designed Forevermark in a way that requires partnership to succeed. Collectively, with our retailers, diamantaires and manufacturers, we can shape the future.”

Forevermark's U.S. president, Charles Stanley, noted, “One of the most useful aspects of our forum is the stage we provide to allow retailers to get to know their fellow partners, meet the Forevermark team, build relationships, and share ideas. The De Beers Group is committed to Forevermark and, as a group, we have the opportunity to create a stronger, more profitable and growing diamond category. We are here to shape the future of Forevermark.”

Forevermark diamantaires and manufacturers showcased their latest Forevermark collections and inventory in a three-day supplier exhibition, a day longer than last year’s forum. All 105 Forevermark manufacturers and diamantaires were in attendance.

During the presentations, Forevermark announced the return of television advertising with a new cut of The Center of My Universe™ commercial revealed at the forum. The commercial focuses on a younger bridal target and will begin running on national cable television stations in mid-April. Additionally, Forevermark announced plans to create a Forevermark Leadership Council featuring select Forevermark jewelers and suppliers from across the country. The new advisory group will be revealed at JCK Las Vegas in June.

Attendees gathered Monday night for a cocktail reception, followed by two days of in-depth seminars that offered industry-leading training in marketing and public relations, media, best practices, and responsible sourcing. Partnership services were provided by Forevermark staff members in marketing, public relations, training and sales, merchandising/assortment planning. Experts from the Forevermark Diamond Institute were on hand to discuss pipeline integrity and the Forevermark inscription and grading process. Jewelers were encouraged to attend round-table discussions led by Forevermark jeweler partners to share best practices.

Attendees celebrated the 125th anniversary of the De Beers Group of companies with a “White Dinner Party” on Tuesday evening. The event featured a special appearance by The Center of Universe™ commercial actress Paige Spara and culminated with a fireworks display.
