RAPAPORT... Christie’s London will hold its sale of important jewels, featuring tiaras, pearl jewelry and historical pieces on November 27.
Leading the selection of tiaras, dating from the mid-Victorian era up to the 20th century, is a magnificent mid-19th century diamond tiara, which can also be worn as a necklace, and it was priced to sell between $289,000 and $402,000 (GBP 180,000 and GBP 250,000).
The sale will present a selection of natural pearls, including an important six-row natural pearl necklace with a presale estimate of $482,000 to $643,000 (GBP 300,000 to GBP 400,000), and a rare colored pearl single-row necklace with a presale estimate of $611,000 to $884,000 (GBP 380,000 to GBP 550,000).
In addition, the sale offers jewels from the 17th century to present day, as well as featured pieces from leading diamond jewelry brands, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff and Bulgari.
