RAPAPORT... Mary Lou Quinlan joined the lineup of speakers at the 2015 Centurion Show, which is scheduled from February 3 to 7. Quinlan is the CEO and founder of Just Ask a Woman/Mary Lou Quinlan & Co. and author of the best-seller "What She's Not Telling You: Why Women Hide the Whole Truth and What Marketers Can Do About It," and "Just Ask a Woman: Cracking the Code of What Women Want and How They Buy."
Quinlan, pictured, also authored "Time Off for Good Behavior" and "The God Box, Sharing my mother’s gift of faith, love and letting go." She’s written inspirational feature stories for Real Simple, O and a monthly career advice column for MORE. She holds an MBA from Fordham University and an honorary doctorate in communication from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia where she earned a bachelor's degree in English. She has been honored as Advertising Woman of the Year by Advertising Women of NY and with the prestigious Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications. Quinlan is scheduled to speak on the morning of February  5.
"We are eagerly awaiting this session with the top expert in the world of female shopping, buying patterns and behaviors. She will offer the latest on what women are looking for in their shopping experiences," said Centurion's president, Howard Hauben. “Following her presentation, Mary Lou Quinlan will do a book signing.”
In addition, Centurion added veteran comedy writer Alan Zweibel of Saturday Night Live and Curb Your Enthusiasm fame to its speaker lineup. Hauben said, "Our attendees love hearing from speakers who fascinate, whether jewelry related or otherwise. We know they will find Alan most interesting. We're excited to have him on board."
Zweibel’s Broadway contributions include his collaboration with Billy Crystal on the Tony Award winning play "700 Sundays" and Martin Short’s Broadway hit "Fame Becomes Me," while other theatrical contributions include the off-Broadway plays "Happy," "Comic Dialogue," "Between Cars," "Pine Cone Moment" and "Bunny Bunny – Gilda Radner: A Sort of Romantic Comedy," which he adapted from his best-selling book. Zweibel is currently preparing a one-woman show for Lisa Lampanelli. He has authored numerous essays, scripts and books, including the 2006 Thurber Prize winning novel "The Other Shulman."
As announced earlier, actors Marlee Matlin and Henry Winkler will take the stage as well to share their inspiring stories of triumph over adversity.
