Centurion Unveils 2016 Awards Winners

RAPAPORT... Centurion Jewelry announced the winners of the 2016 Centurion Design Awards at an evening event at the Centurion Scottsdale Show in Arizona. The evening also honored the 2016 Showcase Awards, as well as the 2016 Vendors’ Choice Retailer Awards, which are chosen by Centurion exhibitors.

The Vendors Choice Retailer Awards went to:

Most Community Engaged Retailer: Tivol, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri
Most Savvy Buyer: Be On Park, Winter Park, Florida
Best Merchandise Presentation: Cornell's Jewelers, Rochester, New York
Best Digital Presence: Cornell's Jewelers
Most Outstanding Retail Partner Of The Year: a three-way tie between Montelongo's Fine Jewelry, College Station, Texas; Shelter Wade Jewelers, San Antonio, Texas; and Tivol Inc.

The Centurion Design Awards went to:

Bridal category: Christopher Designs
Colored Stone Classic: JB Star
Colored Stone Fashion: Spark Creations
Diamond Classic: Etho Maria
Diamond Fashion: Siera Jewelry
Gold: Nanis
Mixed precious metals: Armenta
Pearl: Mizuki
Platinum: Gumuchian
Sterling Silver: Syna
Watches: Michele

The winner of the Centurion Showcase Design Competition was Tara Pearls for a bridal theme incorporating real wedding cakes and pearls, with a humorous couple atop one of the cakes. The first runner-up was Rahaminov Diamonds and the second runner-up was Memoire.

The Centurion Scottsdale Show ran January 31 to February 2.
