RAPAPORT... Designer Jack Row will showcase his latest collections at the 30th annual Goldsmiths’ Fair in London following his successful Harrods debut of the ''Architect'' set of solid gold and diamond-set fountain pens. Row will launch ''Jaali'' and ''City'' collections in London, as well as several one-of-a-kind  objets d’art and fine jewelry at the fair.jack row

“My newest collection of luxury fountain pens and cufflinks are intended to be collectable contemporary treasures, each piece being hand crafted in England from solid sterling silver and 18-karat gold and set with accents of precious petrol-blue diamonds. Inspiration for Jaali is drawn from the geometric patterns of Islamic art, which is translated into the Jaali latticed screens characteristic of Moghul Indian architecture,” Row said.

While his Architect and Jaali (pictured) collections are priced to reflect the high cost  of their precious metal content, Row's City collection is created for the ''discerning city professional who requires everyday practicality.''

Each piece is individually made to order in Row's Birmingham studio and carries a U.K. hallmark, struck by the Birmingham Assay Office, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the precious metals. Each pen also features a solid 18-karat gold nib, although all the designs are  available as roller-ball versions upon request.

Goldsmiths’ Fair is scheduled for September 24 to 30 at the Goldsmiths Hall near St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
