RAPAPORT... The Dubai Pearl Exchange is conducting  a  commercial pearl tender at Almas Tower, showcasing  45 lots of gems that were provided by RAK Pearls. The tender marks the first time that cultivated pearls from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been available for tender, according to the Pearl Exchange.

The tender concludes on June 12  through a silent auction, which organizers expect will attract more than 50 local and regional jewelry companies. Viewing and bidding is by invitation only. Dubai pearl
