The Taiwan division of UBM Asia Ltd. opened booking for its Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair, which is co-organized with the Taiwan Jewelry Industry Association and the Taipei Jewelers' Association. The 2014 Taiwan Jewellery and Gem Fair is scheduled for November 21 to 24 at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1. The fair organizers already expect to create country pavilions for Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand. UBM Asia launched this trade fair in 2013, after which 70 percent of its exhibitors expressed intentions to participate again this year, according to the company. The 2013 Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair hosted 210 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions with more than 6,362 buyers from 31 countries and regions. UBM Asia also organizes several jewelry exhibitions, including the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, which is the largest such event in the world.
