Press Release: OGI Systems Ltd., a world leader in technological innovation in the diamond industry, announced a breakthrough in light reflection analysis and evaluation. OGI’s newest product, the FireTrace Fancy, can measure light reflection in fancy diamond models, including princess, pear, emerald, heart, marquise, radiant, Asscher and cushion.

The new criteria are a continuation of the comprehensive study performed by OGI over 10 years ago that determined the grading of round diamond light reflection. The first study to determine the light reflection grading system for round diamonds serves leading companies and laboratories in the global diamond industry, including Zale Corporation, Stuller Inc., the brand Canadian Ice, labs EGL, CDL, IGL and many more.

Lior Modlin, the vice president of marketing for OGI Systems Group, said the new criteria used by the FireTrace Fancy will be adopted by leading companies in the global diamond industry and will be used as an objective grading standard of light reflection analysis for fancy diamond owners.
