Genesis to Auction Diamonds and Jewelry on July 5

RAPAPORT... Genesis Rare Diamonds of Toronto will host "The Radiant Diamonds of Summer Silent Auction" on July 5 at 1 p.m. and among the lots, proceeds from  a 0.50-carat, VVS1 fancy yellow, rectangular-cut diamond will benefit the non-profit organization Yellow Brick House.
 
“We are ecstatic to partner with a great organization such as Yellow Brick House,” said Jeff Kushner, the president of Genesis Rare Diamonds. “In an event that features over 200 diamonds and diamond jewelry pieces, we look forward to being able to give back to the community via the proceeds of one of our top auction items.”

Other items featured at the sale include a 4.05-carat fancy grayish-yellowish green cushion-cut diamond, a 1.10-carat fancy intense yellow diamond ring in 18-karat gold, a 0.37-carat fancy pink oval-cut diamond from the Argyle mine and a 0.41-carat fancy orange-pink marquise-cut stone.

Yellow Brick House provides emergency shelter, counseling and supportive services to abused women and their children in the York region.
