RAPAPORT... Dalumi Group has shut down Zoara, its jewelry retail platform, the Israel-based diamond company said.

The e-commerce page stopped accepting purchases on January 1, and will complete and ship remaining orders in the next few days, according to a message on the site.

“It was our honor to provide you with outstanding diamonds and fine jewelry to celebrate the important moments of life,” the message read. “Thank you for all your interest over the years, and we wish you all the best.”

Dalumi, a De Beers sightholder, acquired Zoara in 2016. Shutting the site was a “responsible decision” that will enable Dalumi to “perform better,” Kobi Itzchaki, Dalumi’s managing director, told Rapaport News Sunday.

Dalumi will continue to accept returns and offer services such as repairs to Zoara customers, Itzchaki added.
