RAPAPORT... Jewelers of America (JA) has appointed Regina Ciarleglio as
its new director of membership, the trade association said Friday.
Ciarleglio, who will oversee JA’s membership
development and retention, has more than 25 years of experience in the watch
and jewelry industry, having previously worked for Cartier, Swiss Army Brands
and Gucci. She was most recently director of retail development at luxury auction
marketplace Worthy.
“Regina has a breadth of industry knowledge and experiences,
and she will be a tremendous asset as we turn our focus to providing added
membership value, prioritizing member engagement and increasing membership,”
said JA CEO David Bonaparte.
Ciarleglio has also served on the board of the Jewelers
Vigilance Committee and the Women’s Jewelry Association. She replaces Matthew
Tratner.
