RAPAPORT... Approximately 65 percent of the first 20 floors of the International Gem Tower (IGT) in New York has been sold, Extell Development, which is managing the project, reported. The remaining units are available at a price upwards of $1.2 million with the 34-floor tower scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.

The company noted satisfactory interest from companies which attended the JCK Las Vegas show earlier in June as property values Manhattan are projected to rise. “Sales have coincided with a significant run-up in Midtown Manhattan property value,” Extell stated.
