Gitanjali Receives Master Brand Award

Press Release: Gitanjali Group, the world’s largest integrated branded jewelry manufacturer and retailer, has once again been recognized with the Master Brand Award for 2012-2013 by the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council.

The award was received by Sushil Sharma, the vice president of luxury business at Gitanjali Group in Mumbai, as presented by David Forbes, the president and chief executive of Forbes Group U.S. and Donovan Neale-May, the executive director of the CMO Council.

“Awards like this once again reiterates the fact that Gitanjali Group and India’s leading jewelry brands like Nakshatra, Asmi, Gili, D’damas, Nizam, Maya Jewels, Parineeta, Sangini and Diya continue to be the top jewelry brands in the minds of the consumers,” said Mehul Choksi, the chairman of Gitanjali Group.

Key parameters such as thorough research, the trust factor, market data and consumer centric approach were extensively used while deciding and finalizing the winner of the Master Brand Award.
