RAPAPORT... A lawsuit in the U.S. against online diamond retailer Blue Nile and polished diamond supplier Atit Diamond Corporation has been settled.

Blue Nile and Atit were defendants in litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York brought by three plaintiffs: Worldwide Diamond Trademarks, Crossworks Manufacturing and HRA Group Holdings. The defendants will no longer manufacture and sell the 77-facet hearts-and-arrows, cushion-cut diamond at issue in the litigation, according to a Crossworks statement January 19.
