Global retail stocks rose following the approval of a second US stimulus package and the start of coronavirus vaccinations. Macy’s (+8%), Kering (+8%), Pandora (+4%), LVMH (+3%) and Signet (+3%) all gained. Mining stocks were mixed, with Lucapa (+4%) and Alrosa (+2%) climbing, while Mountain Province (-6%) and Gem Diamonds (-6%) fell.
