RAPAPORT... The Jewelry Industry Summit, an open forum on sustainability and responsible sourcing, taking place in New York from March 11 to 13 has been sold out, its organizers said.

The summit, to be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology, will be an interactive working meeting with large and small discussion groups rather than a full agenda of speakers, according to a statement March 7. Certain speakers have been invited to, including Andrew Bone, executive director of the Responsible Jewellery Council, and David Bouffard, vice president of corporate affairs at Signet Jewelers.
