Firestone Digs Up 46ct. Rough Diamond

RAPAPORT... Firestone Diamonds’ stock price rose more than 11% Friday after
the company announced it had unearthed a 46-carat white diamond at its
Liqhobong mine in Lesotho.
The stone — which the miner recovered undamaged — will
go on sale at the company’s next tender at the end of January, it said Friday.
The company also noted an increase in prices for its
smaller, lower-value stones at its December sale.
