RAPAPORT... Michael Hill has appointed Andrea Slingsby as chief
operating officer, it said Wednesday.
“Her unique experience in people-focused, fast-growing
companies, business-model improvement and operational excellence is a major
benefit for Michael Hill as we implement our strategy to become a globally
relevant leader in the premium-jewelry category,” said Daniel Bracken, CEO of
Michael Hill.
Slingsby, who has been working with the Australia-based jeweler
on contract since August 2018, was previously North America president at travel
group Flight Centre. She has also held senior positions for a number of public
and private Australian companies.
