(Rapaport...September 13, 2001) The entire civilized world is stunned by barbaric terrorist attacks on the U.S. Rapaport Diamond Report mourns Lazare Kaplan's Bob Speisman as well as friends and relatives of our staff and all others that have perished.
The New York market is in shock but starting to reopen. Shipments, bank wires and other services disrupted. Rapaport phones still out, but internet connections working. Our emergency phone is 212.302.8046.
The Rapaport New York office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, September 18 and 19, with no price list next week due to the Jewish New Year.
