In 1979, a French pearl farming specialist and a Filipino entrepreneur established Jewelmer with the mission of producing and exporting South Sea cultured pearls, grown in the rare Pinctada maxima oyster.  After 20 years of patience and passion, Jewelmer was able to produce the golden South Sea pearl - the rarest of the South Sea variety.

At the Couture show in Las Vegas this past week, Jewelmer's Jacques Christophe Branellec conducted a walk-through exhibit of the ''Miracle of the Golden Pearl,'' which takes the viewer through stages of the pearl farm production. Finally, Pierre Fallourd, Jewelmer's assistant managing director, debuts the company's new pearl collection.jewelmer
