RAPAPORT... The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will host its Jewelry Career Fair in Carlsbad, California on October 5. GIA’s Jewelry Career Fair is free and marks the one time each year when its Carlsbad campus is completely open to the public. The event will include a panel of industry leaders who will share career insight, an expert session on jewelry trends, one-on-one career coaching and hiring opportunities from across the gems and jewelry sector. GIA's Jewelry Career Fair in Carlsbad begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. at the organization's world headquarters at 5345 Armada Drive.
