RAPAPORT... DGSE Companies opened its 24th Southern Bullion Coin & Jewelry dealership with a new location in  Cumming, Georgia. The new store is located at 882 Bufurd Highway, in the heart of Cumming’s retail shopping section and it marks the second location in the Atlanta-metro area.

DGSE identifed Atlanta as a strategic growth market for Southern Bullion. There are already multiple stores in key regional markets such as Birmingham, Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama and in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

“We are extremely excited about the grand opening of our latest store in Cumming and the continued expansion in the South’s largest metro area,”  said Jim Vierling, the president of DGSE Companies. “Not only is the new store in an area thriving with our primary target demographic, it’s our second store in the Atlanta market – a strategic move that provides immediate and substantial increases in operating and advertising efficiencies. The market and our metro-wide expansions plans are very similar to the suburban layout and demographics of the Dallas and Fort Worth market, where we’ve built our Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange brand into a market-dominating eight retail locations, with a ninth to open next month.”

DGSE coordinated a massive advertising campaign with this grand opening by targeting  online, broadcast television and newspaper advertisements, and featuring a two week “Gold Buying Event” at both locations where customers receive  a 10 percent bonus for their valuables along with daily drawings.
